For the Data Science team within the Business Analytics and Process Excellence area we are looking for Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

 

The team's mission, situated within the Customer Value Management and Data Office business unit, is to enhance the economic value, satisfaction levels, and loyalty of the customer base. This is achieved through a data-driven approach, by leveraging statistical and advanced analyses, visualization reports, machine learning models to extract useful insights. This approach serves as the foundation for understanding customer behaviors and devising strategic actions to achieve the company's goals. This mission is achieved also through the Customer Data Room cross-functional work which leverages the company data assets and technologies to support the different business units.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis, from requirements collection and understanding to design and implementation, to monitoring after deployment. She/he will develop analysis and reporting capabilities and will also monitor performance and quality control to identify improvements:

•    Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources (data mining)
•    Removing corrupted data, fixing coding errors and reorganizing data in a readable format (data cleaning)
•    Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data (data quality)
•    Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction (data analysis)
•    Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data (data visualization)
•    Working with data scientists, data engineers, business analysts and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, suggest system modifications, and devise data governance strategies (cross contamination and process optimization)
•    Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends (communication)

 

Key Skills:

•    1-2 years data analysis background experience
•    Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data 
•    Knowledge of programming languages (Mandatory SQL; Optional: Python, R)
•    Knowledge of data visualization software like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik
•    Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
•    Problem-solving skills
•    Accuracy and attention to details
•    Team-working skills
•    Verbal and written communication skills
