Tasks

• Drive development of E.ON One's product platform using Kotlin and Spring, leveraging the latest cloud-native technologies.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse team of developers, product managers, and architects to design innovative software solutions that shape the future of energy.
• Develop scalable and sustainable backend services that integrate smoothly with third-party services and APIs, ensuring seamless performance
• Engage in code reviews to foster a learning environment through constructive feedback, while continuously optimizing application performance and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java/Kotlin.

• Bonus skills in Python and Go.

• A solid foundation in modern backend development using the Spring framework and deep understanding of API technologies (JSON, REST, HTTP, OIDC, gRPC).

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and cloud native services.

• A proactive approach to software security best practices.

• Enthusiasm forthe energy domain and the ambition to contribute meaningfully to the energy transition.

• Strong ownership of tasks, a collaborative spirit, and effective communication skils

• Fluency in English; German or other languages are a plus.
