At E.ON, the Software Engineering Chapter is a collective of innovative minds dedicated to delivering top-notch software development and engineering capabilities across our product teams. By joining us, you will play a crucial role in keeping E.ON’s code base modern, secure, and excellent.

In our cross-functional team of 10 team members including a Product Owner, and a Scrum Master, you will design, document, enhance, and improve the WCMS component toolkit used globally within E.ON.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

As a Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in developing and implementing modern, user-friendly web solutions and interfaces that empower our clients to efficiently meet their digital business requirements.

You will:

• Receive training to effectively use and develop for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), enhancing your skills in a leading CMS platform

• Design and develop components for the AEM CMS, creating solutions that enhance user experience and functionality

• Work with the latest technologies in enterprise content management systems and web development to deliver innovative solutions

• Develop and implement interface solutions using Azure Functions, ensuring smooth integration between various systems

• Engage with our E.ON customers across Europe, translating their business requirements into modern interfaces and IT solutions

• Actively seek ways to enhance our services and deliver greater business value together with your cross-functional team alongside business stakeholders

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, or a comparable level of experience

• Experience in Java web development, and knowledge of an enterprise content management system, particularly AEM, is a significant advantage

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful web services

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Git, and writing unit tests is essential

• Hands-on experience in developing and implementing Azure Functions

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, enabling clear and effective communication in a global context
