The Team – your impact

The Software Engineering Chapter in Technology & Engineering represents all experts who deliver essential software development and engineering capabilities, to all our product teams. These experts are organized together in a center of competence, the Chapter, to keep E.ON’s code base modern, secure, and excellent.

You and your team are working on E.ON’s HSE app, which informs our employees about health, safety, and the environment in their workplace.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

As a full-stack engineer on the HSE App team you will build, ship and run our product end-to-end—from database and APIs to front-end UI. Your work will combine solid backend skills with modern front-end development to deliver great user experiences and clean integrations. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design and ops to make every component fit together seamlessly.

• Troubleshooting and debugging software issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions and new features
• Participating actively in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Embracing DevOps practices to automate deployment processes, enhancing system reliability, and improving overall development efficiency
• Utilizing cloud technologies and tools to develop and deploy scalable, resilient applications on Azure
• Collaborating closely with team members to share and gain knowledge

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in building and operating modern web applications in cross-functional teams. particularly with cloud-native applications
• Proficient in TypeScript and NestJS plus either Vue or React
• Sound knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, REST/GraphQL APIs and event-driven architectures
• Solid experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or GitLab CI, and in defining cloud resources through Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi)
• Fluent in English for clear and effective communication
