We're looking for a motivated and driven Data Analyst (m/f/d) to join our decentralized Operational Intelligence team.

Team and Product

Ops Intel enables our Mobility Partners and FlixBus Operations Departments to drive impactful decision making, using various data products. To scale with the Flix growth strategy and to secure safety, quality and standards conformity, the usage of pioneering technology and a high level of automation is key to keep the amount of data manageable.

We are working with Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, dbt, Git, Python, R, Jira, and an NLP tool called Caplena on a day-to-day basis to make our impact.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• You will support the creation of new reports with Power BI and will be heavily involved to maintaining and improving existing reports used across Operations, whether in headquarters or in the Flix countries.
• You will communicate with our stakeholders to understand and fulfil their reporting needs.
• You will support the internal ticket handling of our data and report focused service desk.
• You will evaluate and analyse operational data as well as ad-hoc evaluations and prepare recommendations for action.
• You will be the support for the analysis of ongoing operational reports, identify potentials and risks and communicate deviations from targets to the responsible stakeholders.
• You will build scalable data models & transformations. We use dbt and Git.
• In addition, you will help us to drive the further development of our key performance indicators.

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• You already have 2+ years’ experience playing with, manipulating, wrangling and/or visualizing data.
• You are familiar with Jira, Scrum, Confluence and the MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• You insist on best practices when it comes to checking for data quality.
• You are very experienced querying in SQL, and experience in Snowflake would be a plus.
• You have experience with data visualization tools, especially Microsoft Power BI.
• You have experience with data modelling, pipelines and basic data engineering.
• Experience with Python and/or R would be a plus.
• Experience working in an agile environment is a big plus.
• You speak English at business level.
• You are a team player and have a problem-solving attitude.
