The Sr. Manager, Product Designer has a key role in helping deliver this vision.

As the Sr. Manager, Product Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital experiences. Leading a team of talented product designers, you'll collaborate with the Director of UX & Research as well as other cross-functional leaders throughout the organization to help define and execute the long-term vision for the Experience Design team.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Contribute to overall design vision and strategy around the future direction of Foot Locker digital products, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including research, product management, engineering, and business, to deliver exceptional products and experiences.
  • Champion user-centered design principles and best practices, advocating for the customer in every decision.
  • Support in design, staying on top of industry trends and driving innovation in product design.
  • Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality, on-time deliverables.
  • Manage the design system, maintain design standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency and excellence across all products.
  • Act as a stakeholder in design reviews and product development meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and execute the long-term vision for the product design team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience managing others.
  • Minimum of 5+ years role in retail product strategy, guiding designers and driving organizational impact, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
  • Experience using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and prototyping tools.
  • Strong portfolio that showcases several projects and your direct contributions and leadership.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Strong conceptual and design sense across digital platforms including responsive web and native mobile.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present to large audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of how to balance both user and business needs.
  • Proficiency in crafting and facilitating design thinking workshops.
  • Up to date with emerging design trends and technologies.

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $120000 - $160000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
