Are you passionate about sneakers and sports fashion? Do you have a proven track record in product strategy and vendor partnerships? Foot Locker Pacific is looking for a Director, Product Strategy to drive consumer-focused initiatives, elevate our product offering, and strengthen key vendor relationships across the region.
Responsibilities

As the Director of Product Strategy, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product assortment and marketplace positioning. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver trend-driven concepts, strategic vendor plans, and operational excellence that fuel growth and profitability.

What You’ll Do:

Lead Product Strategy:

  • Define and evolve Foot Locker’s product strategy in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Develop consumer-focused concepts and trend-driven initiatives to elevate our brand.
  • Consolidate global and regional insights for actionable strategies.

Drive Vendor Partnerships:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with key vendors to secure exclusivity and revenue growth.
  • Align local vendor strategies with Foot Locker’s vision and maintain live strategy documents.

Strategic Operations & Leadership:

  • Own key product meetings and vendor calendars to optimize team resources.
  • Oversee new vendor onboarding, system setup, and EDI integration.
  • Lead and mentor the Administrative Assistant Buying to ensure operational excellence.

Noting that occasional travel, both domestically and international, would be required for this role.


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in merchandise, product and/or category management, retail, or sales (preferably footwear/apparel).
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of merchandising, trend forecasting, buying, distribution, marketing, inventory control, budgeting, and team management.
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about sneakers and sports fashion
