Overview

This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in New York City. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Foot Locker is seeking a Senior Analyst for strategic sourcing of GNFR (“Goods Not for Resale”) to join our North American Procurement team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing initiatives for a variety of GNFR categories, including but not limited to Facilities & Maintenance, Corporate Services, Contingent Labor, and Marketing categories. You will be required to build and execute RFPs and auctions using SAP Ariba. The role will require you to have a strong foundation in financial analysis (Excel) and an understanding of commercial and contractual dynamics with GNFR vendors. The role reports to our Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing, and is part of the larger Foot Locker Procurement Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assess business needs to recommend sourcing approach and plan
  • Develop and execute procurement sourcing initiatives (e.g., RFPs, auctions)
  • Manage sourcing activities from requirements to contracting
  • Assist in negotiating contract terms and pricing with potential suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, ethical standards, and supplier diversity requirements
  • Drive adoption and continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems, including SAP Ariba
  • Exercise advanced analytical skills when reviewing RFP results and recommending the business award
  • Manage the communication of business awards to the business and supplier community

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement, ideally with the recent experience in sourcing either in Retail or CPG companies
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience operating with SAP Ariba or a comparable sourcing platform
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects and delivering meaningful savings for the business
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts that provide the best value for the company
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
  • Willing to work with processes and systems that are evolving and subject to change
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have a continuous improvement approach
  • Must be self-motivated and resourceful

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $80000 - $95000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
