Foot Locker’s supply chain is the backbone of delivering a seamless experience to our customers across Europe—both in-store and online. Our network includes over 600 retail stores, a recently opened omni-channel warehouse in Haps, and a third-party logistics (3PL) facility in Corby, UK. Together, these hubs ensure timely fulfillment of Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) orders and replenishment for Wholesale (WTS) channels.
The Coordinator Vendor Management plays a key supporting role in establishing and strengthening the Vendor Management function within Foot Locker Europe. This position helps ensure accurate purchase orders (POs), consistent vendor communication, timely deliveries, and smooth collaboration between external vendors and internal stakeholders such as Allocation & Planning and Demand & Inbound Planning.
Responsibilities
The Coordinator / Specialist Vendor Management supports the Sr. Manager Vendor Management in daily operational vendor management activities. This role focuses on vendor communication, PO follow‑up, delivery performance monitoring, and process adherence. It contributes to building the foundation of a scalable vendor management framework in Europe and plays a crucial role in enabling on‑time, in‑full deliveries and reducing downstream processing in the DC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in Vendor Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Coordination, Category Management, or related roles.
- Experience working with external vendors and internal planning/operations teams.
- Strong communication skills (clear, timely, structured) both with vendors and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes (PO lifecycle, delivery tracking, inbound operations).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vendors and tasks.
- Analytical mindset; comfortable working with data, KPIs, and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP or vendor management systems.
- Problem‑solving and issue‑resolution skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with EDI, automated PO systems, or vendor portals.
- Knowledge of Lean principles or process improvement methodologies.
