The Senior Analyst of Workforce Management (WFM) plays a critical role in supporting Foot Locker’s workforce planning and labor optimization efforts through accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis utilizing UKG Workforce Dimensions. This role partners closely with Workforce Management leaders to ensure labor plans, schedules, and capacity models align with business demand, operational priorities, and enterprise standards.
As an execution-focused individual contributor, the Senior Analyst translates data into insights that support daily operations, peak planning, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Workforce Planning & Execution Support
- Support the development and execution of labor forecasts, schedules, and capacity plans that align with sales, traffic, and operational demand.
- Assist in creating and maintaining workforce models to support promotions, peak periods, and seasonal fluctuations.
- Monitor workforce execution against plans and identify variances, risks, and trends that may impact service levels or labor efficiency.
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Prepare and maintain standard weekly and monthly workforce reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Analyze labor spend, productivity, forecast accuracy, and schedule effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate data findings into clear insights and recommendations for Workforce Management leaders and business partners.
Operational Performance & Optimization
- Track key workforce KPIs and support corrective actions to address performance gaps.
- Support initiatives to improve labor efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and scheduling effectiveness.
- Assist with testing, validating, and refining labor assumptions and models.
Tools, Systems & Data Integrity
- Utilize workforce management systems and analytics tools to support planning, reporting, and execution.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across workforce reports, forecasts, and dashboards.
- Support system enhancements, updates, and process improvements in partnership with Workforce Management and Technology teams.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Workforce Management leaders, Field Operations, Finance, and HR teams to support labor planning and execution needs.
- Respond to data and analysis requests from stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
Support communication and documentation related to workforce processes, metrics, and best practices.
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of experience in workforce management, labor analysis, operations analytics, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
- Proficiency with Excel or similar data analysis tools; experience working with reporting dashboards preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and support operational teams.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Operations, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with workforce management or scheduling systems in retail, service, or customer-facing environments.
- Exposure to labor forecasting, capacity planning, or scheduling processes.
- Experience supporting multi-location or high-volume operations.
