Overview

The Total Rewards function is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of Foot Locker’s compensation and benefits. The mission is to design and deliver market-competitive total rewards programs that support Foot Locker’s Talent Strategy.

We are currently seeking a Compensation Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Compensation. The Compensation Analyst plays a key role in supporting the design, administration, and evaluation of the company’s compensation programs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical individual who is interested in building a career in Compensation and Human Resources.


Responsibilities

  • Participate in and analyze third party compensation surveys such as Radford, Willis Towers Watson, and Korn Ferry.
  • Support the administration of base pay and incentive programs.
  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends and compliance risks.
  • Assist with job evaluations and leveling’s using established methodologies.
  • Evaluate roles within the existing job architecture to ensure proper leveling and alignment.
  • Prepare reports for HR Business Partners.
  • Respond to routine compensation-related inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate compensation data in multiple HR systems.
  • Support audits and compliance efforts related to compensation regulations.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or HR/analytical roles preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service orientation skills.
  • Effective cross functional partnerships with HRBPs, Finance and Legal.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to operate in and maintain complete confidentiality, particularly with sensitive, internal information.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, corporate environment.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $67,000-$75,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
