Overview

The Total Rewards function is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of Foot Locker’s compensation and benefits. The mission is to design and deliver market-competitive total rewards programs that support Foot Locker’s Talent Strategy.

We are currently seeking a Manager, Compensation, reporting to the VP, Compensation & HRIS. The Manager, Compensation plays a key role in designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs. This role partners closely with HR and business leaders to ensure pay practices are equitable, market aligned, and compliant while supporting total rewards initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Evaluates competitive practices, recommends action or programs based on insights.
  • Perform benchmark analyses to ensure that salary and incentive packages remain competitive.
  • Participate in and analyze third party compensation surveys.
  • Evaluate roles within the existing job architecture to ensure proper leveling and alignment.
  • Support the design and delivery of incentive plans.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide compensation guidance and support.
  • Oversee annual compensation cycles (merit increases, bonuses, promotions, and adhoc salary adjustments).
  • Monitor pay equity and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Talent Acquisition, Legal and HR teams.
  • Ensure compliance with FLSA and pay transparency.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years progressive experience with compensation programs (i.e. annual bonus programs, job evaluations and salary surveys).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong customer service orientation skills.
  • Effective cross functional partnerships with HRBPs, Finance and Legal.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to operate in and maintain complete confidentiality, particularly with sensitive, internal information.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree. and CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) designation highly desirable.

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $90000 - $120000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
