The Senior Manager, Allocation works cross-functionally with Allocation, Buying, Planning, and CX leadership to develop and execute Allocation strategies and tactics that support financial sales plans, gross margin targets, and inventory turn. They are directly responsible for effective pre-season and in-season assortment planning and inventory management for high profile real estate investments and strategic market growth. In addition, they are responsible for training and developing Allocation team members in all aspects of the business including system best practices, trend identification and decision making.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Optimization, Visual Management and CX teams on new and remodel capital projects, including floor plan development, fixture capacities and seasonal transitions
- Partner closely with FOB / CX leadership on assortment management and sales opportunities in top volume locations
- Partner closely with Regional / market leadership on brand strategies, trend awareness and inventory management
- Develop department-specific tactics that balance Allocation and Merchant strategies
- Collaborate with Buying, Planning and Allocations leadership to maximize key Omni selling periods
- Manage Allocation team members across multiple departments thru order writing best practices, inventory management and seasonal transitions
- Work closely with Assortment Planning team on store expansion / retraction opportunities
- Work directly with Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development and Allocation leadership on new hire (Ambassador) onboarding program, course agenda and curriculum development
- Identifying and resolving assortment related challenges
- Market visits as needed
Qualifications
- Retail experience with 3+ years of management experience
- Advance Excel Skills and PBI reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic planning of assortments
- Proven team player across multiple functions

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $100000 - $110000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
