The Senior Manager FP&A Store Wages is a member of Foot Locker Europe’s finance team, working in partnership with the Customer Experience, Sales, Planning and Accounting teams to provide data insights to support strategic business decisions. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing staffing costs through the analysis of store wages and primary KPIs, distilling this analysis on a weekly and monthly basis to provide recommendations for senior management.
You will have the opportunity to lead and manage cost optimization projects, collaborating with District Managers, GEO Vice Presidents & Market Directors across a variety of EU countries. You will apply your skills and knowledge to manage process of Store Wages planning & analysis, identification and management of Risks & Opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for weekly wages forecasting and budgeting – linking the business reality to the financial results of the company
- Responsible for month-end cycles with actual reviews, accruals calculations in collaboration with payroll and accounting teams
- Identify wage/ cost opportunities and recommend/contribute/lead (process) change that leads to better business results
- Manage team of four associates
- Data and system management to ensure accurate KPI measurement and reporting
- Lead cost optimization projects, liaise with local District Managers and GEO Vice Presidents
- Monitor and control hours and KPIs covering 580 stores across 15 countries
- Contribute to & lead various other projects
- Prepare, analyse, and share daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports for Management & Operations as a back-up from other team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 6- 8 years of relevant work experience in financial or business control
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
- One year of management experience
- Advanced level Excel skills required; an Excel test is part of the recruitment process
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Able to quickly understand and improve complex data, reports, and processes
- Ability to recognize and address opportunities in the status quo
- Ability to plan and execute projects while meeting key milestones
- Experience in an international environment, complex cost structure and/or accounting are a plus
