This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in NYC. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking a passionate and results-driven leader to join the North America Merchandise Strategy and Operations team. The Senior Manager will partner cross-functionally with Buying, Planning, Digital, Supply Chain, and Technology to improve processes, systems, and data quality across the merchandise lifecycle.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, operational expertise, and the ability to lead change across complex, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 19 (two direct reports), overseeing data integrity, item creation, and purchase order operations across North America
- Define and evolve the Merchandise Services operating model, including process standardization, governance, and scalability; lead process improvement initiatives
- Own end-to-end merchandise services processes, including item setup, product attribution, and purchase order lifecycle management
- Establish and monitor KPIs (e.g., data accuracy, PO timeliness, SLA adherence, cycle time) and drive accountability to performance targets
- Own data governance and integrity standards across merchandise systems, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon style, color, and product attribution guidelines; oversee vendor deadline calendars, digital enrichment data, family coding, and size chart consistency to support accurate product representation
- Ensure timely and accurate purchase order execution, including maintenance activities such as updates, cancellations, and exception management; partner closely with Buying and cross-functional teams to resolve PO discrepancies (shortages, overages, pricing) and improve upstream accuracy
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying root causes and implementing scalable process and technology solutions
- Partner with Technology and Merchandise Operations to support system enhancements and implementation of new capabilities
- Build organizational capability through coaching, talent development, and creating growth opportunities for team members
- Manage team performance and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant retail or merchandising operations experience
- Experience in product data management, item setup, and purchase order processes
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and driving operational improvements
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis
- Process-oriented with experience documenting current-state processes and designing optimized workflows

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $110000 - $125000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
