Overview

We have On-Site, Part-Time positions that can be based in New York City and/or Camp Hill, PA

Foot Locker’s physical Security Operations/Command Centers (SOC) acts as the communication and situational awareness hub for Foot Locker's physical Security and Loss Prevention operations 24x7. This is not a cyber security position. The Security Operations Center Analyst (Console Operator) reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Security and interacts with team members at all levels of the organization.


The Security Operations Center Analyst's primary role is for internal alarm monitoring, but is also responsible for monitoring, researching, reviewing, and analyzing physical security data sources for dissemination and reporting purposes, to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures in a timely manner, in a fast-paced environment along with support for security needs throughout out facilities.

Shifts Available:

  • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (weekends)

Responsibilities

  • Basic experience configuring/administrating technical physical security systems such as access control, alarm/video monitoring platforms and other data capturing systems
  • Monitor intrusion alarm system, video verify the alarm trigger and notify law enforcement and stakeholders as needed
  • Review incident-based video, download to storage, and distribute to stakeholders as needed
  • Provide appropriate escalation and prepare clear and concise communications to security and business leadership and other partners during major incidents
  • Work independently, at times, with little direct supervision

Qualifications

  • Physical Security Operations Center Experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of security equipment (CCTV, Alarm Systems and Access Control)
  • Alarm monitoring experience a plus
  • Experience utilizing C-Cure 9000 and Genetec camara systems a plus
  • Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel is required
  • Must be reliable, punctual, highly dependable, flexible, and able to work various schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays occasionally cover staffing shortages and fill in for time off requests
  • Ability to keep alert and remain focused while on duty, regardless of workload and time of day or night
  • Meal and break periods cannot be scheduled, and employees must be able flexible and work within the needs of the SOC

Benefits

Salary Range: $18 - $20 / hour. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
