We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our SAP Technical Services team as Director / Product Owner SAP Business Technology Platform (m/f/d). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining and driving the strategic direction of SAP BTP solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing the value of the platform. This role requires prior experience as Technical Manager in SAP S/4HANA projects, deep understanding of SAP BTP capabilities and excellent communication skills.

This position should preferably be filled in Bad Homburg (Germany), however other international locations are also possible.

Your assignments

• Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for SAP BTP, aligned with business goals and objectives.

• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and technology trends. Communicate the roadmap to internal teams, ensuring a shared understanding of the product direction.

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for SAP BTP, from ideation to implementation.

• Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, market trends, and customer feedback.

• Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of SAP BTP solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and business units, to gather requirements and ensure successful product integration.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP BTP-related inquiries and provide expert guidance to stakeholders.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related relevant field.

• 15+ years of experience with at least 5+ years in managerial capacity.

• Successfully led and completed at least two full life cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects in a technical manager capacity.

• Proven track record of managing large (20+) diverse teams, including offshore and remote members.

• Extensive leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to lead, inspire, and motivate cross-functional teams.

• Experience in building and nurturing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and promoting a culture of innovation.

• Strong decision-making abilities with a focus on achieving both short-term goals and long-term strategic objectives.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP BTP capabilities and associated technologies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in agile development methodologies.

• Project management skills and a results-driven mindset.
