  • Directly supervises the execution of production plans by following the latest manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures and enforcing full compliance with regulation and with general company policies.
  • Directly supervises all production personnel in B&P Department in accordance with proper work procedures and safety regulations
  • Develops and works with the process engineer to provide technical assistance to the chemical operators in the solution of problems that affect the overall efficiency, productivity and quality of the area.
  • Ensures that process areas are clean and organized with the best possible appearance according to the 5S Program.
  • Analyzes materials and POV and recommends process improvements and change to BOM to minimize POVs and improve cost.
  • Prepares the Performance Appraisals for employees within the department.
  • Ensure that security and safety practices are consistently and constantly followed.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science or Engineering, or experience that is equivalent.
  • Three years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment - recommended.
  • Must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing in English and Spanish.
  • Certified in Six Sigma Green Belt, desirable.

The salary for this role is $75,000.00 - $90,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
