- Manage and optimize transport planning processes for road / sea / air / tankers locally and align with global policy
- Manage and coordinate daily transport activities
- Act as first de-escalation level for all transport related issues locally and ensure delivery of goods on-time and in full
- Manage customer complaints related to Carrier services and ensure high service and availability carriers
- Support and implement new customer requirements, manage transport coordinator teams and special transport teams cross-site
- Discuss required service improvement carriers with Purchasing team and coordinate POP approaches with all relevant carriers
- Coordinate with warehouse managers to improve carrier-warehouse relations
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in transportation
- Experience in transportation management and planning
- Ability to manage carriers and 3PL/4PL effectively
- Highly organized with strong communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Carrier management and rate negotiation skills
- Advanced in Microsoft Suite
- DOT/FMCSA compliance training certification preferred

The salary for this role is $124,000.00- $147,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
