About This Position

  • Leading the China regional supply, material planning, scheduling, replenishment and forecast business analytics processes to ensure supply chain performance enhancement and standardization.

What you´ll do

  • Leads and oversees the entire Supply Planning (incl. material planning, scheduling and replenishment) organization for the region, the forecast business analytics, manufacturing co-packing coordination/steering, and the phase-in/phase-out process.
  • Cooperates with Market Operations Heads and team leads to improve overall availability (service level), forecast quality, and inventories.
  • Works with Logistics (loc/reg.) on propagating forecast across network, and in (re-)balancing inventories.
  • Collaborates with Manufacturing to increase production attainment, enhance run strategy, and balance total Supply Chain costs.
  • Works upstream with Purchasing on supplier performance and on supply flexibility and reliability.
  • Steers Regional Supply Review to successfully balance regional demand and supply, and support profitability and business growth.
  • Monitors and ensures optimal phase-in and phase-out process in the region, to minimize obsolescence costs (incl. BoM).
  • Initiates and supports projects to improve Supply Chain Planning performance.
  • Challenges local forecast assumptions and deviations (FCA and Bias) and enforces complexity and slow mover management together with Market Operations teams.
  • Ensures regular knowledge and best practice sharing within the Supply Chain Planning community, within and beyond region.
  • Fosters a high performing team mindset and culture and drives continuous improvement.
