What You´ll Do
- You ensure that regional security operations are managed in line with risk assessment, global and regional security standards and policies, in order to protect Henkel’s people, brands, reputation, information and other company assets against all real or perceived threats. You are heading the regional security team.
- Drive all areas of Security including Crisis Management, Business Continuity, Physical Security, Supply Chain Security
- Intelligence, Investigations, Threat Management, Travel Security, Executive & Event Protection, and Physical Information Security.
- Act as a strategic advisor to regional, country, and site leadership across businesses and functions.
- Define the regional strategy for security awareness, communications, training, and capability-building across the company.
- Lead, coach and develop the regional security community, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Maintain on-time visibility of all security incidents, threats, and crisis events within the region, ensuring effective coordination, escalation, and resolution.
- Serve as the senior consultant for major physical security projects, ensuring risk-based, cost‑efficient, and scalable solutions.
- Drive development and implementation of state-of-the-art security systems, tools and equipment across all sites in the region, in alignment with respective stakeholders.
- Professionally represent security, engaging with global, regional, country and site stakeholders and leadership, across businesses and functions.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with government agencies, law enforcement, industry peers, and private-sector security networks.
- Leverage external intelligence and partnerships to enhance regional situational awareness and preparedness.
- A related Master’s degree is preferred, or minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Security, Law, Political Science, Criminal Justice or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, thereof min. 5 in Corporate Security, within a multinational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
- Strong communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing security programs across multiple sites, business units, and regulatory environments.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
