What You´ll Do

  • Lead product development activities for new film and paste products, ensuring alignment with innovation goals, customer requirements, and overall business strategy.
  • Identify technical and market opportunities by analyzing data, customer feedback, and competitive benchmarks, translating insights into clear development actions for new film and paste products.
  • Drive scale‑up activities by coordinating pilot and manufacturing trials, ensuring a robust and seamless transfer of new film and paste products from development to mass‑production readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product development chemists, application engineers, innovation project managers, and operations teams—to secure smooth progress through each development milestone.
  • Own the validation planning and execution for new film and paste products, confirming performance, reliability, and manufacturability prior to commercial release.
  • Implement strong quality and verification practices by defining acceptance criteria and reviewing technical results to confirm production readiness for new film and paste products.
  • Prepare clear and concise technical documentation and reports, communicating risks, decisions, and progress to stakeholders and senior management throughout development and scale‑up.
  • Lead cross‑functional problem‑solving during scale‑up and validation, identifying root causes and executing corrective actions to establish stable, high‑quality production of new film and paste products

What makes you a good fit

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or other related fields is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in product development or process engineering within the chemical, electronics, or semiconductor industry is required.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes for film, paste, or other chemical‑based products, including a solid understanding of scale‑up and validation workflows, is required.
  • A fundamental understanding of statistical concepts is required, and knowledge or certification related to Six Sigma is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and statistical tools such as Minitab or JMP, along with working knowledge of SPC and FMEA for process control and risk assessment, is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in both Korean and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams and clearly document technical findings, are required.
