About This Position

• This is Asia color R&D team which always dedicates to provide innovative & qualified solutions to boost consumers’ confidence through hair color beauty. Our team’s slogan is “Let’s Color the World Together”.
• This job purpose is to provide full formulation development service to ensure future requirement of respective business units are reflected in the short to long-term technical programs.
  
  

What you´ll do

• Develop new hair color formula/technologies for Asia consumers (more for CN retail market), ensure its stability, performance superiority, catering needs of target consumers.
• Execute and manage projects to ensure NPD delivery on time without formulation issue. Set proper technical timeline, coordinating formula related discussion like technical risk assessment and alignment, driving efficient formula cost; Technical support to mkt, sales and supply chain; Resolving quality issue related to formulation.
• Support regulation team regarding regulation compliance and product notification/registration.
• Ensure that Henkel's new IP is protected through collaboration with internal and external partners; Provide guidance and recommendations on patents, trademarks and proprietary agreements.
• Technical support to 1) Marketing activity, including technical claim and demo generation and other technical content generation. 2) technical training for SC, Sales, and exporting countries/market.
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• Master’s degree as a must, Doctor’s degree is welcome.
• Major in chemistry/ chemistry engineering/material science/biology.
• English CET-6.
• 2~3yrs+ formula development working experience in FMCG industry; A more relevant category experience in Hair Color category is preferred. Hair care or cosmetics related with color are also welcome.
• Passionate on formulation design & product development, open innovation.
• Good at communication in both English and Chinese.

• IP knowledge.
