What You´ll Do

  • Timely execute scale up on approved new products, mid development, in validation to launch with target of zero CCMS upon NPI.
  • Perform best in class validation of newly designed products to meet customer’s and/or market CTQs in line with strategic & financial goals per ADP requirements.
  • Interfaces with R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing Plant, especially with Manufacturing Engineering at any Henkel manufacturing plant worldwide selected for the high-volume manufacture of a new product.
  • Runs design of experiments to understand relationship between raw material, process and final product parameters. Documenting results into a report with complete raw material, packaging and manufacturing risk assessments.
  • Writes manufacturing specifications and develops new test methods as required for newly commercialized products.
  • Performs passive data collection between raw material, process and final product parameters. Document the results.
  • Execute on proposed new processing technology for newly designed products appropriately to maintain leadership in NPI.
  • Execute IP implementation, including and not limited to black boxing.

What makes you a good fit

  • Must possess relevant degree at minimum BS level or above, Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Preferable years of total Experience: 5+.
  • Minimum 5 years of directly applicable experience in Project Management, Product Development Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering in chemical industry; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong statistical and analytical troubleshooting. Certified 6s Green Belt preferred.
  • Strong processing technology, R&D & Operation background. Preference experience in a range of adhesive coating techniques incld. Calendar Coating, Knife Coating, and Slot Die Coating.
  • Must be customer focused, action and result oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and process economics in areas of responsibility, including a thorough understanding of the effects of process variables and design considerations important to optimal operation.
