About this Position This position supports Eumseong plant health and safety activities to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards, while assisting with risk management and promoting a strong safety culture.
What You´ll Do
What You´ll Do
- Support compliance with local and global occupational safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Manage occupational safety, health, and environmental data, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with risk assessments and follow up on corrective actions.
- Conduct safety inspections and routine patrols.
- Support incident and near‑miss investigations.
- Support training and education programs to promote a strong safety culture.
- Manage hazardous chemical substances and dangerous‑goods handling facilities.
- Respond to customer and external audits related to SHE (Safety, Health, and Environments) and sustainability.
- Develop sustainability KPIs and identify improvement initiatives to achieve targets.
- A bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other related fields is required; Fresh graduates with relevant academic backgrounds can apply.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or plant operations is required; SHE‑related certifications (e.g., Industrial Safety Engineer, Air Environment Engineer, Hazardous Materials Industrial Engineer) are preferred.
- Native-level proficiency in Korean is required, and an intermediate level of English is preferred (English email communication is sufficient).
- Strong data analysis skills, time management skills, verbal communication skills, and solid interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team, work independently on multi‑task assignments, self‑direct project work, and demonstrate strong ownership and responsibility.
