About this Position This position provides technical support for consumer device adhesives through intensive communication, application testing, and analysis in collaboration with regional/global teams and customers.

What You´ll Do

  • Provide technical support for Henkel’s electronics materials product line within the consumer device market.
  • Secure technology leadership in product development and commercialization by optimizing material application processes, and work directly with customers to resolve product- and process‑related issues.
  • Address fundamental technical challenges across the product line and/or portfolio by developing new application processes, troubleshooting issues, and characterizing materials.
  • Conduct field testing using application and analytical equipment, and support on‑site evaluations as required.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a consumer device environment (structural adhesives) or in a technical customer‑facing role is required.
  • Must have a strong understanding of current electronic device technology trends and applications is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively one‑on‑one with colleagues and customers, as well as in group environments; capable of working independently and multitasking as part of a team.
  • Must have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility, with a customer‑centric mindset and the ability to consistently deliver high‑quality results based on a deep understanding of customer needs and culture.
  • Ability to successfully provide on‑site support for complex customer issues.
  • Ability to formulate clear conclusions and define a path forward based on project outcomes; Excellent data analysis skills.
  • Native proficiency in Korean and intermediate proficiency in English are required.
