What You´ll Do

  • The Digital Engineer (DE) is the primary enabler of digital readiness and transformation at the factory level.
  • This role acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all digital tools, initiatives, and infrastructure at the site.
  • Ensuring plant readiness for current and future technical requirements across HPS, SHEQ+, Engineering, and other pillars.
  • Driving harmonization of digital initiatives—aligning site-specific tasks with global standards to reduce redundancy and improve operational efficiency.
  • Acting as a bridge between factory-level needs and global digital strategies, ensuring that deployment reflects local IT/OT maturity while adhering to strategic 4IR frameworks.
  • Leading the education and upskilling of factory teams, driving usage, availability, and improvement of digital tools.
  • Contributing to site advancement, including cyber-related responsibilities and supporting HPS workstreams.
  • Collaborates closely with Global CoE Digital, regional directors, and the plant leadership team (PLT) to define, implement, and continuously evolve the digital roadmap
  • Technical Abilities to interact with PLC platforms including Rockwell Automation & Wonderware systems
  • Provide shop floor technical support for digital platforms
  • Serve as a liaison with regional IT/OT colleagues to support and execute project initiatives

The salary for this role is $145,000 - $165,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
