What You´ll Do

• Assists in translating the production plan into a mid-long term Material Requirements Plan, ensuring material availability based on forecasts.
• Maintains MRP parameters, consolidates cross-category needs, and addresses MRP exceptions aligned with the production plan.
• Collaborates with suppliers to support Rough Cut Capacity Planning for material requirements, balancing cost and supply needs.
• Assists in material inventory analysis, reviewing policies, tracking slow-movers, and managing obsoletes.
• Maintains manufacturing parameters to support material planning efficiency.
• Identifies and escalates material sourcing risks or opportunities to relevant internal or external stakeholders.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning processes and performance.
• Ensures accurate material ordering in terms of quantity and timing, optimizing order size while minimizing obsoletes.
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Management or Business Administration
• 1-2 years of experience as intern or employee in supply chain management
• Business fluent English and Spanish is required
• Good communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships at different levels of organization
• Ability to work in virtual environment
• Open-minded and flexible, ready for changes of planning portfolio
• Strong analytical skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel in particular)
• Basic knowledge of MRP planning is an advantage
