What You´ll Do
The Business Development Lead OMNI is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing digital growth opportunities that accelerate Walmart’s and Sam’s Club retail businesses across stores and e-commerce. This role drives partnerships, programs, and capabilities that improve traffic, conversion, and basket size across digital and physical touchpoints. The role partners closely with merchandising, e-commerce, marketing, technology, analytics, operations, and sales teams to deliver scalable solutions that grow retail performance.

What You´ll Do
The Business Development Lead OMNI is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing digital growth opportunities that accelerate Walmart’s and Sam’s Club retail businesses across stores and e-commerce. This role drives partnerships, programs, and capabilities that improve traffic, conversion, and basket size across digital and physical touchpoints. The role partners closely with merchandising, e-commerce, marketing, technology, analytics, operations, and sales teams to deliver scalable solutions that grow retail performance.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure digital and omnichannel growth opportunities for Walmart and Sam’s Club.
- Build and manage a partner pipeline that drives traffic, conversion, loyalty, and overall retail performance.
- Lead negotiations, develop business cases, forecasting, and ROI models tied to retail KPIs.
- Own digital shelf accuracy and syndication across platforms such as Syndigo, 1WorldSync, and Salsify.
- Optimize PDP content in collaboration with marketing, sales, agency, and content creation teams.
- Conduct regular content and compliance audits using tools including Profitero, Scintilla, and MAP.
- Lead retail search strategy and execution across Walmart and Sam’s Club digital platforms, partnering with PacVue and marketing teams.
- Manage search, digital, and partnership budgets with strong ROI accountability.
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, merchandising, e commerce, marketing, operations, finance, and retail media teams to execute growth initiatives.
- Build dashboards, reporting, and business reviews to track performance and support executive and customer communication
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Walmart/Sam’s eCommerce, Walmart Marketplace, digital merchandising, or CPG category management.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capability, including forecasting and ROI analysis.
- Experience with digital shelf and content syndication tools (Syndigo, 1WorldSync, Salsify) and retail performance analytics (Profitero, Circana Unify, Scintilla).
- Familiarity with retail search, digital merchandising, and on-site optimization; experience with PacVue preferred.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with strengths in data storytelling and visualization.
- Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.
