About this Position This position leads the production cell by developing and executing short‑ and long‑term strategies to ensure optimal efficiency, output, and adherence to the highest standards of Safety, Quality, Environment, and customer service. In addition, this position develops operators according to the skill matrix and serves as a leader and coach to drive continuous improvement aligned with OEE and glidepath objectives. Furthermore, this position owns and manages all KPIs for the cell—including Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Scrap, Sustainability, and Cost—and is fully accountable for the actions and results.

- Promote a safe and healthy production environment and always follow safe work practices.
- Review performance indicators (KPIs) and daily, weekly, and monthly trends. Execute audits and assessments to evaluate the implementation status of activities in the cell.
- Support and manage the development and continuous improvement of standard work for all areas of the cell. Work closely with the Technical Reliability and Continuous Improvement teams to analyze current performance and establish actions to address losses. Review team questions and ideas.
- Own and lead the daily cell meeting and escalate relevant information to the Plant Daily Operational Review. Conduct structured MUDA walks with line leaders, attend daily shift meetings, and review shift leads’ tasks and assignments.
- Develop and coach cell team members to support cell activities. Identify and execute training plans for all cell team members.
- Support other managers by reporting results and activities for the cell. Identify best practices and share them across clusters/sites.
- Support the CM with any requirements related to the above activities.
- Spends more than 70% time on the manufacturing floor.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, with an emphasis in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or a similar discipline, is required.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience working in a FMCG large national or multinational company recognized as a leader in performance management (e.g., packaged goods, pharmaceutical, medical device, aerospace, automotive) is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of people management experience is required; Experience in production (preferably Laundry & Home Care or Beauty Care) is required.
- Good understanding of production technology, Lean Manufacturing, or SHEQ standards is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience using continuous improvement tools (such as Kaizen, pull systems, Autonomous Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Quick Changeover, error proofing, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Zoning, 5S, Total Quality Management, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, gap analysis, etc.) is preferred.
- Lean Certification or Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
- Good communication skills in Korean and English are required.
- Strong experience with IT tools and MS Office (especially Excel) is required.
