What You´ll Do

  • Henkel Adhesives is seeking a customer-facing Field Application Engineer to support our Tissue & Towel business. This role is critical in delivering technical service, driving value and promoting sustainability through Henkel’s expertise. You will collaborate closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to identify customer needs, design tailored technical solutions, and ensure successful implementation. The position involves frequent travelling, engagement with multiple customer levels, from line operators to corporate technical and procurement teams.
  • Main Responsibilities
    • Customer Engagement & Technical Service
    • Conduct on site customer visits for technical service, product recommendations, demonstrations, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
    • Develop and communicate value propositions for Henkel solutions.
    • Provide high-level support for key accounts and critical NAMX/global customers.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration

What makes you a good fit

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field.
  • Experience:
    • Knowledge of water-based adhesives in tissue & towel markets.
    • 3+ year of Industry experience, ideally in personal hygiene business.
    • Experience with tissue & towel manufacturing equipment is a plus.
  • Skills: -
    • Willing to travel up to 70% of the time to customer sites across North America and Mexico.
    • Strong analytical, mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent oral/written communication (English required; Spanish preferred).
    • Project management, organizational, and digital skills (Salesforce, AI tools preferred).
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in building relationships with internal and external professionals of all organizational levels.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
    • High learning agility, adaptability, motivation and innovation mindset.

The salary for this role is $90,000.00 - $140,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
