About This Position

  • As Global Product Line Manager, you will shape and drive a high-impact product portfolio strategy aligned with our marketing direction—accelerating sales growth and improving profitability.
  • You will steer portfolio optimization across the full product lifecycle (from development through end of life), including product sustainability transformation, product changes management etc.. You will need actively manage pricing and COGS to balance market share with healthy contribution. You will also drive the effective resolution of product topics (supply, regulation, compliance etc.) and lead mid-to-long-term risk mitigation (e.g., localization and dual sourcing of raw materials) to protect supply continuity and business performance. You will also be responsible for the product classification to support product promotion.

What you´ll do

  • Set the product and portfolio strategy for the assigned product line; align product portfolio priorities with marketing strategy to deliver business targets.
  • Own portfolio and lifecycle management end-to-end—support new product launch, steer product classification and promotion, reduce complexity, monitor product changes, advance sustainability to keep the portfolio competitive and healthy.
  • Boost profitability through rigorous product cost management (new and commercialized products); turn around low/negative-margin items; and lead localization and raw-material replacement initiatives that improve contribution and resilience.
  • Own pricing strategy and governance—set and manage list pricing, review/approve special pricing, and support annual price increases to maximize value capture and contribution.
  • Be the go-to champion for product topics—resolve product requests and issues quickly to enable sales growth and minimize business impact (e.g., ad-hoc supply crises, critical quality topics, 3PM product issues, and regulatory/compliance requirements).
  • Contribute to global and regional initiatives that shape how we operate—such as Manufacturing Footprint Optimization, Strategic Master Data, and Business Continuity Planning.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
  • Strong spoken and written English proficiency.
  • Advanced Excel skills; SAP user. Power BI proficiency is a plus.
  • ~5 years of global product management experience, ideally with ownership across the product lifecycle.
  • Experience in fast-moving industries such as semiconductor, consumer devices, or chemicals.
  • Hands-on project and change management experience, backed by strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen—able to connect customer needs, technology, and commercial outcomes.
  • Proven leader who can influence without authority and drive complex initiatives across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; strong collaboration across functions and SBUs; confident negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a genuine passion for solving tough problems.
