About this Position We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process improvement, manufacturing operations, and engineering design. You will work closely with experienced engineers to support projects that enhance production efficiency, product quality, and safety. What you´ll do
- Assist in analyzing existing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collect, organize, and interpret data to support process optimization.
- Support the development and testing of process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance.
- Document procedures, test results, and engineering changes.
- Participate in troubleshooting production issues and proposing solutions.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Interest in manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Professional proficiency in Dutch and English, be able to produce clear, accurate written documents and conduct verbal communication.
- Hands-on experience in a production plant with engineering projects.
- 5-6 months internship (possibility to extend for 2 more months, max. 8 months in total)
- An internship allowance of 1000 EUR gross/ month and a travel allowance of 250 EUR
