About this Position We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our manufacturing organization across multiple sites in Japan. This role will work closely with site leadership and the broader manufacturing management team to drive organizational transformation, strengthen workplace culture, and enhance overall performance and engagement.

What You´ll Do
- Act as HR Business Partner across multiple manufacturing sites
- Partner with factory management to align HR strategies with business and operational priorities
- Lead and manage employee relations (ER), including handling grievances, supporting union-related matters, and advising on employment issues
- Coach and support leadership teams to enhance leadership capability and drive cultural and organizational change
- Drive HR initiatives focused on engagement, productivity, and performance improvement
- Support transformation projects across sites to improve overall organizational effectiveness
Must Have
- Solid HR experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of employee relations (ER) and labor practices
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders and influence stakeholders
- Experience driving organizational change and transformation initiatives
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work closely with onsite operations
- Strong communication skills in both Japanese (native level) and English (business level)
- Willingness to travel regularly across multiple sites
- Experience supporting unionized environments or involvement in union negotiations
- Background in multinational or matrix organizations
- Experience in chemicals, automotive, or related industries
- Proven track record in leadership coaching and talent development
- Flexibility on work location or prior experience working across multiple sites
