What You´ll Do

  • Manage Paste Production to directly support Filming and Packaging Departments. Work directly with Sr. Manager of Plant Production to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and enforce all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) requirements. Drive SHE improvements in a way that is consistent with our culture and philosophy.
  • Participate in all relevant audits, owning all aspects/requirements for the Paste Department, including completion of corrective actions.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee daily and long‑term production activities across multiple shifts to meet plant demand
  • Respond effectively to schedule changes, production delays, and material or equipment issues.
  • Champion continuous improvement across all operational disciplines.
  • Ensure that the department and its people understand the goals and objectives of the business and are trained on any new requirements.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process deviations, safety incidents, and quality issues.
  • Manage department budget and control production costs, including labor, utilities, and MRO materials, while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and SHE groups to develop improved processes.
  • Develop and utilize metrics to measure performance and improve performance.
  • Participate in talent development initiatives for all Production staff.
  • Promote employee engagement, teamwork, ownership, trust, creativity, innovation and growth

What makes you a good fit

  • BS in Science and/or Engineering preferred.
  • Experience in structured Problem-Solving Methodology (A3, 5-WHY, 8D, etc)
  • Systems/Program (Excel, Minitab, SAP) and data manipulation experience
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment. Prefer experience in a chemical batch process environment
  • 2-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with large headcount
  • Must work efficiently and within established time frames and be agile with priorities
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus

The salary range for this role is $104,000.00 and $155,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
