What You´ll Do
- Ensure packaging materials and designs meet defined quality standards
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain high-quality standards for packaging materials
- Investigate and address packaging-related quality issues by conducting root cause analysis
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in packaging materials, processes, and systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, purchase, packaging engineering central team, logistics, and product development.
- Monitor supplier quality performance – Raw, Pack and 3PM
- Conduct supplier audits, qualification, and ensure compliance with requirements
- Lead supplier issue resolution using root cause analysis
- Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure implementation of quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, and CTQ, SQC for packaging and supplier processes
- Evaluate and approve changes in packaging materials, designs, or supplier processes
- A bachelor's/master’s degree in packaging engineering/ Diploma /PG diploma from Indian Institute of packaging
- Minimum 7 years of experience preferably in Adhesive, FMCG industries.
- Familiarity with all relevant quality tools
- Proficient with SAP
