About this Position This role leads and develops the Application Engineering team across SEA, ensuring strong technical capabilities and team performance while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to support customer needs and drive growth. The position is responsible for driving innovation in applications and equipment, delivering customized solutions, and leveraging customer insights to improve service and identify new business opportunities.

What You´ll Do

• Coach, manage and develop the application engineer team in SEA.
• Work closely with key business stakeholders to support the customer needs and business growth.
• Drive application/equipment innovations and develop new test method to meet the customer needs.
• Responsible for product recommendations, customized products applications, new product demonstrations and troubleshooting for customers.
• Leverage customer feedback to drive optimization in customer service and identify new business opportunities for sales colleagues.
• Promote internally SBU innovations and best learning cross accounts, respect and promote the internal company SHE rules.
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material science, chemistry or physics.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to coach and develop team members.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical thinking abilities
• Good command of English; Chinese is an advantage
