About this Position The position is part of the Global Business Solution in Cairo (GBS+ Cairo), in the Market Data Solutions Process specifically handling the operation of Senior Reporting & Advanced Data Analyst.

What You´ll Do
- Execute and Lead market, client, and customer reporting, and perform data analysis across key business areas such as market share, brand performance, sales effectiveness, promotions, and pricing.
- Perform data extraction, processing, and transformation to support reporting and analytics solutions using Excel, VBA, Power Query, KNIME, and Python, sourcing data from multiple systems while ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Design and build data models following best-practice methodologies (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) with strong structuring, scalability, and best practice governance.
- Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot sophisticated Power BI dashboards using complex DAX, advanced modeling, incremental refresh, and optimized performance for large/ complex datasets.
- Ensure data reliability through rigorous preprocessing, validation, and quality checks.
- Drive reporting automation, process optimization, and system enhancement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
- Mentor and support team members by sharing technical knowledge, best practices, and analytical methodologies.
- Support the team in building, optimizing, and troubleshooting Power BI reports and dashboards, including handling large and complex datasets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in business analysis, reporting, and data analytics
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong expertise in Power BI, including advanced DAX, applying Row level security, large-data modeling following best-practice methodologies (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema), and performance optimization
- Strong knowledge of databases, data concepts and SQL for data transformation activities.
- Hands-on experience or working knowledge in Python for data transformation, data analysis, and automation
- Experience with KNIME and/or Alteryx is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced functions, Power Query, VBA) and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- FMCG Background is a huge plus.
