- Drive export sales growth across Sub-Saharan Africa or assigned export markets
- Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned to company objectives
- Identify new market opportunities distributers and key accounts
- Support the marketing team to define the portfolio and assortment strategy by country/channel
- Manage pricing strategy, margins and profitability
- Build long term customer relationships and negotiate commercial agreements
- Deliver annual sales targets, budgets and forecasts Distributer and Channel Management
- Appoint, manage and develop distributers in export territories
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance tracking
- Support route to market optimization across FMCG, DIY/Hardware and Professional segments
- Ensure distributer compliance with Henkel standards and brand positioning Supply Chain and Operations
- Co-ordinate export logistics, demand planning and order fulfillment
- Work closely with supply chain, customer service and legal teams
- Resolve export -related operational challenges
- Ensure compliance with customs, incoterms, export distribution Market and Competitive Intelligence
- Analyze market trends, customer behaviour , and competitor activity
- Identify growth segments and product opportunities
- Provide insights by country to leadership and marketing teams
- Monitor economic and geopolitical risks affecting export markets Financial Management
- Manage export P&L performance
- Control rebates, pricing structures and payments terms together with commercial excellence team
- Monitor foreign exchange impacts and credit risks
- Manage pricing and inventory risks to avoid returns and margin erosion
- Portuguese
- Ability to travel extensively in Africa
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
