What You´ll Do

• What you´ll do Assists in translating the production plan into a mid-long term Material Requirements Plan, ensuring material availability based on forecasts.
• Maintains MRP parameters, consolidates cross-category needs, and addresses MRP exceptions aligned with the production plan.
• Collaborates with suppliers to support Rough Cut Capacity Planning for material requirements, balancing cost and supply needs.
• Assists in material inventory analysis, reviewing policies, tracking slow-movers, and managing obsoletes.
• Maintains manufacturing parameters to support material planning efficiency.
• Identifies and escalates material sourcing risks or opportunities to relevant internal or external stakeholders.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning processes and performance.
• Ensures accurate material ordering in terms of quantity and timing, optimizing order size while minimizing obsoletes.
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• Ability to do a 12 month internship.
• Bachelor or Master student in the field of industrial engineering, supply chain management or Business management
• Proficient level of MS Office, especially Excel and Digital Analytics (Power BI).
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Very good English language skills.
• German and any other European language is a plus
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication skills
