About this Position Accountable for Material Planning process – for a dedicated set of suppliers/products – that determines net requirements for the full horizon. Trigger the timely delivery of externally purchased raw and packaging materials to the manufacturing sites.

- Ensure material availability to support the Master Production Schedule while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Validate planning parameters (MOQ, lead times, sources of supply, sourcing ratios) and propose adjustments to Network Specialist (data stewardship).
- Run Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), review and resolve alerts, and create purchase requisitions (PR).
- Review inventory projections vs targets (L16, L56, OSMI). Take appropriate actions i.e., expedite, delay or cancel requisitions.
- Review PRs to ensure alignment with supplier lead times, capabilities, and transportation constraints (data stewardship).
- Share MRP with suppliers (electronically/manually) and collect feedback. Assess the impact of any material shortages, identify possible solutions (options) and discuss with suppliers.
- Escalate unresolved issues to respective next supervisor level.
- Inform Productions Planners about material unavailability.
- Provide input to Regional Supply Resilience team for periodic supplier performance monitoring.
- Plan material supply ramp-up/down for product phase-in/out to avoid material shortages for the ramp-up and obsoletes after ramp-down (last time buy).
- Support strategic procurement projects (supplier footprint optimization, single vs dual sourcing).
- Close collaboration with internal/external key interfaces, mainly via APS, judging and aligning priorities to meet customer expectations and needs vs. supply chain capabilities; monitor and ensure delivery of other functions commitments.
- Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiencies or streamline workflows.
- Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality and timeliness; use KPI’s, performance management systems and reports to improve personal performance.
- Utilize APS, driving efficiencies and providing feedback to contribute to systems improvement (internal & external use).
- Plan own activities according to demand to ensure business continuity, enhance efficiencies and improve service levels. Actively participate in team meetings to align priorities.

- Minimal education required for the position: Bachelor degree, Commercial apprenticeship
- Minimal work experience required in years: 2-5 years of experience in Material Planning and/or Supply Chain Planning
