What You´ll Do

• Lead market strategy for the apparel, textile and accessories industries, defining strategic priorities and growth opportunities globally.
• Track industry trends, competitor developments and customer needs, and continuously refine market segmentation, sizing and target applications.
• Own and drive key strategic initiatives, translating strategy into concrete actions and measurable impact.
• Translate customer and market insights into innovation priorities, value propositions and product portfolio direction, including sustainability priorities.
• Lead go-to-market strategies and support customer engagement activities with key brands and manufacturers.
• Act as the interface for the China market, ensuring strong alignment between local market priorities and global strategy.
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in the apparel, textile or accessories industries.
• Strong market understanding of apparel and textile value chains, including brands, suppliers, manufacturing processes, and sourcing ecosystems.
• Experience within China's business environment and strong understanding of its role in global value chains.
• Proven ability to work effectively across diverse teams, functions and geographic regions.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Educational background in marketing, business, textile/material science, engineering or related field.
• Footwear industry, as well as Adhesives & Coatings knowledge is a plus.
