About this Position In this position, you will take ownership of supply planning activities within the IMEA region, including planning responsibility for Henkel’s manufacturing site in South Africa. You will work closely with the factory to align weekly and monthly plans, monitor capacity and raw material constraints, and proactively address potential bottlenecks. Previous experience working closely with factory planning operations will be key to succeeding in this role.

- Responsible for weekly supply planning of Finished Goods (FG) materials. Creates planned orders as well as STOs between plants.
- Checks daily production quantities and follows up on open process orders, if any preponement needed, communicates with production and RPM team to take prompt actions to avoid stock out.
- Communicating with various people/functions across the country (production, quality, RPM planners, PD, CS, S&S, logistics and sales teams).
- Leads daily and weekly meetings and follows up production plans and priorities, RPM shortage & AF options, rework trend, blocked stock status, bin availability and investments etc.
- Leads S&OE meetings to ensure necessary actions are in place.
- Ensures that the FG portfolio is supplied in the most cost-effective way, kept at target service and inventory levels.
- Escalates availability and delivery issues to FG MEA Planning Manager, especially if shortage could be an issue for customer line stop.
- Ensures the KPIs are aligned with the targets (Write-off, Slow Mover, DOS, Customer Service Level) and portfolio is supplied in the most cost-effective way, kept at target service and inventory levels and prepares weekly and monthly reports about those KPIs
- Maintains material master data and planning parameters; defines safety stock norms, reduces slow- and non-moving products in IMEA.
- University degree in Industrial Engineering or related departments
- Minimum 4 years of experience in supply planning, ideally in FMCG and/or Chemical sector
- Advanced user of MS Office applications, SAP know-how is desirable
- Experience in supply planning within a manufacturing/plant environment is preferred.
