The team – who you work with:
Product & Innovation is a diverse team united by their passion for building great products with the latest technology. Together with and for our businesses we initiate, develop and run product and technology innovations, which create sustainable value for our businesses and their customers. Additionally, we identify and boost digital business model, product and technology innovations. We report directly to the CEO.

The challenge – what you will do:

  • Support the new, young and fast-paced Product and Innovation team at Burda
  • Organize frequent community events and internal conferences
  • Be responsible for event organization, team support for 10+ team members, travel arrangements, and facility management
  • Execute your own projects within the team
  • Coordinate professional communities including communication channels (e.g., Teams groups, Newsletters, etc.)
  • Own and improve the onboarding experience for new team members
  • Support procurement tasks, including vendor contact, and placing of orders
  • Be able to work between both in the office (at least 2 days) and at home
  • This position is suitable in full-time and part-time (80%)

What we would expect from you...

  • At least 2 years of experience as an assistant in fast paced environment
  • Passionate about digital technology
  • A healthy and warm working atmosphere is important to you
  • Excellent, fluent interpersonal and communication skills, in English and German
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization skills, event planning experience is favorable
  • Have high standards for yourself and those around you
  • Enjoy solving tasks independently
  • A high school diploma and an apprenticeship or university degree
  • Advanced knowledge of MS-Office, especially PowerPoint
