Your Role and Responsibilities
Provides expert level business process guidance on data archiving functionality within SAP. This includes design, recommend and implement data archiving and access mechanisms and processes.
  • Plans and leads major technology assignments.
  • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting project growth and success.
  • Functions as a technical expert for Data Archiving.

Job duties include:

  • Evaluate client requirements and provide recommendations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Assess the organization’s data needs and requirements
  • Develop and implement archiving policies and procedures
  • Manage the archiving process, including data migration, storage, and retrieval
  • Monitor the archiving system for performance and compliance

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 10 or more years of SAP experience and a comprehensive knowledge of Data Archiving in SAP
  • Experience using SAP archiving tools to archive data to Open Text for SAP modules including FI, SD, MM, HR, FM, SPL, CO
  • Software development lifecycle requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post production support of data archiving for various SAP modules in ECC, BW, SCM, SRM
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other relevant discipline. 4 or more years of relevant experience may be substituted for the BS degree
  • Must be able to clear a DoD clearance, Must not have dual citizenship


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP
  • Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures
  • Federal experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with IBM Finance and Reporting processes
  • Expertise in business requirement development and documentation
  • Understanding of Navy ERP solution and IBM portfolio of contracts
  • Software development lifecycle requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post production support of data archiving for various SAP modules in ECC, BW, SCM, SRM
