Your Role and Responsibilities
The Sustainability Software business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Developers to work as a Development (Engineering) Manager on the Maximo family of products. In this role, you will be the personnel manager for a ~15 person team and responsible for building a culture of high performance trust, inclusively and fun. You’ll closely collaborate with the broader Development & Support team to manage delivery of our offering roadmap. While you’re not responsible for coding directly, it’s expected that you have enough relevant technical experience to provide guidance to your team and help unblock progress. This is an exciting opportunity to learn how the industry leading Enterprise Asset Management suite of products works and to learn from a large team of very talented engineers.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
– Personnel management
– Customer facing experience including verbal and written communication and flexibility to accommodate customer’s needs
– Agile development methodologies / scrummaster
– Jira, Aha! and Salesforce
– At least one programming language: Java, Python or JavaScript.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
– Maximo Asset Management / Manage
– Maximo Application Suite
– OpenShift, Kubernetes and Docker
– Basic Linux/Unix knowledge.
