Senior Software Engineer, IBM Corporation, Cambridge, MA (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Participate in daily standup team meetings. Plan and describe the tasks to be done every Sprint (every two weeks). Contribute to the retrospective meetings with feedback and ideas to improve the efficiency and teamwork. Track the status and provide continuous updates. Resolve cases of dependencies or blockers that interfere with the continuation/completion. Review code merge request with the team to assure quality and legibility. Add and update automation tests. Investigate new cloud features and design their implementation in our current model. Share knowledge with other engineers through detailed documentation and wiki pages. Work with product managers to define features goals and requirements. Work with QA Engineers to define tests and use-cases. Utilize: Java, Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL, Git, Spring and Python. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Java, Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL, Git, Spring and Python. Full time. V112.
