Job Description
You will be part of an international and dynamic team which is responsible for the development of state-of-the-art magnetic and pressure sensors. Your responsibilities as a sample manager will involve supporting the manufacturing of integrated circuit samples from the project tape-out through to the product launch, with a focus on maintaining a productive database. Your collaborative efforts will extend to intensive work with Project Managers and Infineon’s frontend and backend locations worldwide, particularly in supporting logistical development activities for both development lots and sample orders.

In your new role you will:
  • Launch, trace and control development lots (e.g. wafers, samples, boards) in the frontend and sample orders in the backend
  • Ensure on-time delivery of engineering samples to internal and external, international customers
  • Be involved in supply chain management by collecting forecasts for the ongoing projects
  • Act as the logistic interface between the development team located in Bucharest and the frontend (Europe, Asia) and backend fabs, both assemblies and testing locations (Asia)
  • Handle of specific data base software tools
  • Setup and maintenance of development related product database
  • Create plans and communicate deadlines to complete projects in due time
  • Act as the site representative in the worldwide community
This position is initially offered on a fixed-term contract basis with a duration of 2 years.

As you like being challenged at work, you are stress-resistant and flexible in adapting to a dynamic and demanding environment.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A university degree
  • Very good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a cross functional international team
  • Strong skills in the fields of organization, planning and tracking
  • Accurate working style, precise data maintenance
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office Excel
  • Experience in production planning is considered a plus
  • Fluency in English
