Join our newly established IT Department at Infineon Technologies' Budapest office, a key hub for our global competence center in IT infrastructure, integration, and security. As an experience Systems engineer you will play a key role in providing day-to-day technical support and administration for Windows Servers in a local, regional, and global environment

You will be responsible for providing technical support and administration for Windows Servers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our team to resolve incidents, implement changes, and maintain the stability and security of our IT systems.
In your new role you will:

• Focus on Windows server operational tasks such as resolving incidents and change requests, and provide 2nd tier response, analysis, and resolution planning for dated issues
• Install and configure new systems, including backup solutions and high availability options
• Initiate and follow-up on critical vendor technical support requirements
• Document system processes and procedures
• Maintain, upgrade, and enhance current IT systems in local and regional sites
• Liaise with application groups on various projects and other system support requirements
• Drive improvement topics

You are a highly motivated and experienced IT professional with a strong passion for working with Windows Server systems. You have excellent problem-solving skills and are able to work effectively in a team environment. You are proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Informatics, or a similar field
• 1-3 years of experience in operating Windows-based server systems
• Being a subject matter expert in certain areas within Windows server administration, such as Windows Security, Antivirus products, or server backup, is an advantage
• System automation knowledge and skillset, scripting, and programming is very beneficial
• Basic understanding of network services like IP, DNS, or DHCP
• Accept challenges in a day-to-day operations of a global, productive environment
• Open to work in self-responsibility and willingness to participate in on-call shifts
• Good English skills and Hungarian
