Join our newly established IT Department at Infineon Technologies' Budapest office, a key hub for our global competence center in cloud infrastructure, integration, and security. As a DevOps engineer, you will support our internal cloud platform which supports application owners and developers.

Job Description
As a DevOps engineer, you will be implementing cloud-based solutions to support the development and deployment of applications, using container orchestration tools. Your responsibility would be also to provide a secure environment for the applications.
In your new role you will:

• Work in a global team of Kubernetes / OpenShift administrators supporting and operating our hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Contribute to building robust services for monitoring, automation, and self-healing on cloud platforms (VMware, OpenShift, Azure, AWS…)
• Help identify and remove single points of failure, improve reliability, and address performance bottlenecks
• Support ongoing planning, development, and implementation of cloud-native solutions and systems

Your Profile
You are a motivated individual with technical background and a passion for innovation. Your analytical mindset and adaptability would make you a valuable member to any multinational organization.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Kubernetes / OpenShift administrator, DevOps engineer, or software developer
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Basic understanding of cloud solutions or microservices
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Go, to develop automation and tooling
• Experience with virtualization technologies is a plus
